GST Michigan Works! – MiCareerQuest

Dort Financial Event Center, Flint MI

MiCareerQuest was created in 2015 in response to Employers’ needs for future talent in high-demand industries: advance manufacturing, construction, health sciences and information technology. Upon seeing such great success, they have shared their event playbook with Michigan Works! agencies across Michigan.

During this event, high school students rotate through quadrants highlighting in- demand career opportunities that exist locally. Interactive exhibits, created by employers, showcase various in-demand occupations. Students use the tools of the trade and talk with professionals who do these jobs every day.

MiCareerQuestTM opens students’ eyes to the great careers in our region – whether they want to work right after graduation, attend a community college or career training center, move on to a four-year degree program or beyond.
